The Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso



Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche is a highly respected meditation Master and scholar who was born in Tibet in 1931. Under the guidance of his Spiritual Guide, the Venerable Trijang Rinpoche, he trained for nineteen years in the great Tibetan monasteries of Jampaling and Sera-Je before entering into meditation retreat in the Himalayas for almost twenty years. He holds the entire lineage of instructions of Kadampa Buddhism and is renowned as a great Teacher and Meditator. He has created more than 1000 Kadampa Buddhist Centers throughout the world. Our Resident Teacher - Gen Kelsang Tilopatilopa


The Resident Teacher of Kosala Buddhist center, Gen Kelsang Tilopa, is a fully ordained monk and close disciple and student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Tilopa is well loved for his humorous yet clear and profound teachings and for the great care with which he skillfully and compassionately guides his students.
Born and educated in Scotland, Gen Tilopa brings to the teachings of pure Kadam Buddhadharma his varied life experiences to help and guide his students, and to show how pure dharma teachings and practice can improve the quality of our daily lives at work, at home, and in our everyday relationships.
Gen Tilopa has given teachings and empowerments and led meditation retreats in Scotland, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina.

"The Joyful Path "
Wednesdays @ 7pm

with Gen Kelsang Tilopa

This drop-in class is ideal for all levels of experience. Each evening begins with a simple relaxing meditation, then a Dharma talk from the teacher. The class concludes with another meditation. Cost $10
